It was far from a normal week at a Pennsylvania high school. On Wednesday, 10th grader Alex Hribal went on a stabbing spree with kitchen knives and injured at least 21 students and a security guard. Despite all victims being critically wounded, no deaths have been reported and all are expected to survive. Hribal's motivation to stab anyone in sight remains unclear, as he was known as a quiet boy with no history of troublesome behavior. With a psychiatric evaluation underway, the school, community, and nation will soon find out.
Hribal's offense is one of many school shootings and stabbings that have occurred over the past several years. Consequently, a "school zone" is no longer synonymous with a safe zone for children to spend their days. Sadly, most of these cases come as a shock and surprise to all, which is why school officials and teachers can never be sorry for prepping in case of such tragedy. For That Emergency's Classroom Lockdown Kit contains enough materials, like food ration bars, packs of drinking water, a portable toilet and necessary toiletry supplies, and an AM ratio, to hold over a class full of students if they are caught stuck hiding from a killer loose in the hallways. In cases of emergencies, you can never be over-prepared. Prep your classroom today. Click HERE to see the kit!
